We’re already at week 5!? We don’t know why the time is passing so fast, but we’re still going to make the most of the weeks we have left. So get ready for the week ahead, because we have a lot in store!
Tuesday Movie Night:
As most of you know, movie night is held at the club on Tuesday night. It starts at 6:30, and ends at 8:00. It’s $2 to get in and make sure to bring additional change for candy that will be sold. Also, make sure to bring a cup for juice, and if you are 13 or turning 13 by the end of the year then buckle up for the second (probably scary) movie! It’s an additional $2 dollars to get in!
Wednesday Fun Day:
The theme of this week’s fun day is… Halloween!! Get dressed up in the coolest and spookiest halloween costumes you can muster up and get ready for a day full of lots of halloween themed games!
Non-Gala-Gala:
We want to thank everyone who attended the gala on Saturday! This club would not be able to run without the help of our generous donors and everyone’s continuous support. It was so great to see everyone there supporting this club that means so much to us all!
Civic Holiday Regatta!!
This Saturday is our annual Civic Regatta!!! Yahoo! Everyone is welcome to join our junior club members at the club for an awesome day of racing! Boats will be offered to the community on a first-come-first-serve basis, prioritizing our junior club members. We will have boats available, but you are welcome (and encouraged) to bring your own sailboat.
There will be two courses, one for the senior sailors, lasers and handicapped fleets, and one for the younger sailors.

REMINDERS:
There’s a chance of thunderstorms on Monday and Tuesday, but fear not, club will still be running, so make sure to bring foul weather gear!
Please make sure sailors come prepared with:
- Water
- Sunscreen
- Lifejackets
- Snacks
- Raincoats
- Close toed shoes
- Towels
And any other sailing gear you may need.
