At the recent Annual Meeting of Ontario Sailing, the Ontario Summer Games (from which our Club emerged with a gold medal) was named the 2008 regatta of the year. Congratulations are due to our frriends at the Nepean Sailling Club…and for our sailors nice to be Gold Medallists in the regatta chosen as the best in Ontario for ’08. Amy DesBrisay describes the regatta as great “because everybody was so keen and the volunteers could not have been more helpful…kind of like Sturgeon when we run the Mid Ontarios.”
