This Saturday, it is ‘put the club to bed day’… A day of helping to put our club away so that it is in fine shape to open up again next June…We will have snacks and libations for all the worker bees…and many hands will make light work.
Prize giving begins at 7 pm this Friday at the Church and the Club’s AGM will follow immediately after prizegiving. All are welcome. Come celebrate the kids’ accomplishments and a great year!
On the evening of July 10, 2010, SLSC will celebrate the 54th season of Sailing on Sturgeon Lake with a fundraising cocktail and beach party at the Swannanoa boathouse and out on the sandbar. I am thrilled to report that, the day after Toronto won the bid for the Pan Am Games, SLSC has won its bid to play host to the 2010 National Laser Masters Championships. On Saturday November 7, the North American Laser Class Association approved SLSC’s bid to hold the National Championships (a three day regatta) from Friday July 23 to Sunday July 25.
